I remember, as a child, being afraid of the dark. It is funny how just turning on a night light seemed to make it all better. Nothing could hurt me as long as a light was on and I could see what was around me. Light cut through the darkness and exposed all the hidden things so I was not afraid.
Jesus is our light and we no longer have to live in fear of anything. His light cuts through the darkness and lights the path for your feet to follow so that you will not stumble and fall. He is always there, even in your darkest moments. You can trust in him and never fear!
Psalms 27:1 (NLT) - "The LORD is my light and my salvation - so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?"
