We all have good times and bad times. I pray that your good times far outweigh the bad times. It is important that when you are going through the good times to lift others up and encourage them through their bad times. Encouraging words are powerful and reassuring to a friend or family member.
The most encouraging words in the Bible have to do with the hope of the resurrection. That is when Jesus returns and raises both the living and the dead to eternal life with him. Read about it in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The apostle Paul tells us to encourage each other with these words.
As Christians, we have a lot to cling on to, but when all else fails us, we have that hope to cling to. That is the ultimate prize in our story... eternal life with God. When humans fail you and disappoint you, just know that he will never leave you or forsake you. Whether you are still living or whether you have died when Jesus returns, you will spend eternity with God. Encourage each other with these words!
