Perspective

We all have our heroes or people that we look up to, whether they are someone that is actually part of our lives or someone famous that we look up to or maybe just an actor that plays a character that we like. A hero could be your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, teacher, or preacher. It could be anybody! There is one thing that every single “hero” has in common with you and me and no one on earth is an exception.

We all are sinners and we all are in need of a savior. It does not matter if you are rich or poor, famous or unknown, tall or short, fast or slow, or even good or bad… you are a sinner and you need a savior. It does not matter what race, color, creed, or national origin you are… you are a sinner and you need a savior. It does not matter whether you are homeless or live in a mansion or whether you go to church or stay home and watch football instead… you are a sinner and need a savior.

We all sin and we all fall short of God’s glory. Jesus is the only way to the Father and we all need to receive him in order to reach heaven. It does not stop there though. We are all commissioned to reach others to draw them into the kingdom as well. So, tell your friends, and anyone else who will listen, that Jesus is their Savior and spread the Good News!

Romans 3:23 (NLT) - “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”
