Surrounded

I have a host of things coming at me from several fronts that the enemy is throwing at me all at once. It’s like he is mounting a full frontal assault, using every weapon in his arsenal to overtake me and bring me down. He has literally forced me to my knees.

That was a tactical error on his part for several reasons. Not only am I in a position of prayer, but I am surrounded by prayer warriors. Friends, family, and church elders are lifting prayers to the Lord of Heaven’s armies in unity with me. The enemy is now surrounded and must flee because we are calling on and trusting in the name of Jesus.

Even though things seem to be out of my control, they are in God’s control. That’s right where they should have been in first place! All that’s left for me to do is to convince my head of what my heart already knows.

Surround yourself with prayer partners and soak up God’s Word now so that, when trials come, you are equipped to send the enemy fleeing. He will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding!

Psalms 91:2 (NLT) - “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.”
