I talked about our trips to the dog park in a recent blog. One of the dogs that we see regularly is a sweet basset hound named Izzy. She loves every human and every dog in the park. When she arrives it’s like she lights up the place . We all love to greet her or be greeted by her. She has that type of infectious personality.
We should all strive to be like Izzy and bring joy and happiness wherever we go. If I could light up a room like her just by being there it would have to have a positive effect on those around me. I don’t want to have a dark and gloomy cloud over my head following me everywhere like Pigpen from Peanuts.
Christians should radiate joy and the love of Christ. Jesus is the Light of the World. We must let his light shine through us. So be like Izzy and light up your world!
John 8:12 (NLT) - Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
